I was getting sick of my blog name. I didn’t think anyone could take me as serious or professional. I needed a cleaner design if I wanted to impress others. Click the picture to check out the new blog!!

Our senior movies are coming soon and I’m writing the script as of now. This movie will mimc the TV show CSI: Miami. The movie is about Nathan Grey (Matthew Hardman) and Travis Ryder (Daniel Walsh) who witness a Gang leader (Prashant Singh), of the gang called the “Killer Squids”, kill someone outside of a coffee shop. The two detectives go to Pittsburgh, where the gang members hang out, and they find out they are in for allot more than they expected. This movie will be released for public viewing sometime before summer 2011.

Green Bizz is here, and it’s coming by fast. Greenbizz is a project that seniors do in DSA. Our task is, as a group, create fictional businesses and design different “green” products that will ultimately compete amongst the other teams teaching us business strategies as well as a multimedia aspect at the same time. Our business and product has gone through allot of fine tuning since we first started off. And I finally think we have a solid logo and company name. Our company is Piezo Power and we make electroturf (sub flooring that harvests energy as you walk through the use of piezoelectricity.) We still have a long way to go….but at least we have a solid name, logo, and product.

For our last year at the Digital Safari Academy, we were assigned to make posters of ourself. The task was to make a poster as if you were selling you. So what better way to sell a name than a magazine. I mimicked the GQ magazine line for my poster. I was originally going to hold an oar in the picture since i do crew, but when it came down to the deadline, there was no way i could get a hold of an oar or find a high enough quality oar to photoshop into the picture.

I was lucky enough to be given the task of making the sweater design for the Digital Safari Academy. It took a while to find a good concept for the design, but once i figured out what I was going to do, It came along relatively quick.

I had an internship at Central Contra Costa Solid Waste Autority(CCCSWA). They’re a governmental agency that manages the solid waste programs for Danville, Lafayette, Moraga, Orinda, Walnut Creek and portions of unincorporated Contra Costa County. There aim is to inform residents, businesses and schools about recycling and waste reduction and it was our job to help them with that. Our small group of three, including Pauline Santos and Arturo Castaneda, were set on the task of creating an entire media campaign for elementary school students and their parents; including an animated video a reusable grocery bag, door hanger, and a brochure. The end product was very satisfying and I am proud of our end result.

I haven’t used my blog in soo long, I feel that everyone that used to look at it stopped now. I hope that I get more people to check out my blog again. I have been really busy with my DSA internship at CCCSWA(Central Contra Costa Solid Waste Authority) Its coming to an end soon. We will be receiving our reusable bags that we made soon and our animated video will soon be done. I just hope we can finish the video in time. I really want it to look “top notch”. They said they might even put it on T.V. I would love to have that. Plus if the bill about banning plastic bags in California passes, then I can say I was apart of that. That would be a great way to jump start my career. For anyone that cares, I’m going to start updating my blog as much as possible now.
